Lattice Fintech
A regulated fintech marketing site with compliant content workflow.
The story
A regulated fintech needed a marketing site with a content workflow their compliance team could sign off on — without slowing marketing to a crawl. We designed both.
Context
Marketing shipped pages faster than compliance could review them. Compliance retaliated by locking the CMS. The result: a stale site and an internal cold war.
Discovery
We interviewed both teams separately. Compliance wanted visibility, not veto. Marketing wanted speed, not silos. The workflow was designed to give both.
UX strategy
Public site optimised for narrative. Internal CMS reorganised around a state machine — draft, compliance review, approved, published — with a full audit trail.
UI design
Serious but modern. Clean, financial-grade typography without corporate stiffness. Every marketing claim linked to a disclosure the system verifies still exists.
Development
Next.js frontend, Sanity CMS with a custom workflow plugin. Publishing requires an approved-state check; drafts can be shared via signed preview URLs.

Notes we keep coming back to.
- 01Regulated marketing sites succeed when compliance is a first-class user.
- 02A state machine is more useful than another checklist.
- 03Disclosures are content — not an afterthought.
Questions about the Lattice Fintech project.
Can compliance really block publishing?
Yes — the state machine enforces it. Marketing can draft freely; publishing needs the approved state.
How are disclosures versioned?
Every disclosure is a first-class document with an immutable version history.
Do you handle privacy policy or ToS drafting?
No — we structure and publish them. Legal drafts the actual content.
Can we self-host the CMS?
Sanity offers a hosted model that satisfied compliance for us; self-host is possible but heavier.
